Plastic equipment for poultry farms and hatcheries
Poultry farms, hatcheries and egg distributors need equipment that can be washed and disinfected again and again. Plastic does not absorb moisture or harbour bacteria the way wood and cardboard do, which helps keep flocks and eggs healthy and biosecurity simple.
Multi Pack makes egg crates for bulk transport, reusable egg trays for 18, 20 and 22 eggs, hatching trays and 164-egg trays for hatcheries, ventilated chick transport crates, chick floor pallets and cage mats for brooding, and plastic flooring pallets for goat and sheep sheds. Our poultry and meat crate is used by broiler suppliers and slaughterhouses.
What to look for
- Easy cleaning: smooth plastic that can be pressure-washed and disinfected between batches.
- Ventilation: vent slots on chick crates and open frames on egg crates for airflow.
- Fit: egg trays sized to your grading and packing line; crates sized to your vehicles.
- Durability: equipment that survives daily handling for years, not months.
